"Horses have a powerful healing affect on the human psyche."
Jane Goodall and Dian Fossey were my childhood heroes. These women helped me develop my interest and love for animals, nature, and humanity. I started off owning my first pony at the age of 8, then I "grew" out of ponies, and pursued a degree in primate behavior.
Later I went on to teach college in Southern California. Since re-locating to Phoenix, I worked in the education department at the Phoenix Zoo. There I gained the ability to work and present animals in a public setting. It is amazing to see the awe and wonder that live animals bring to the public.
The combination of life and professional experience, has allowed me to combine both my love of horses and working with people. I am truly blessed with this opportunity to follow my passion!
I'd love to hear from you or your organization if you think our miniature horses could bring joy, awe (awww!), and adventure to your event or program.

Our Horses
Here at Phoenix Mountain Minis, we are our horses #1 advocate. Horse and handler teams are required to be evaluated and registered through either the American Miniature Therapy Horse Association or Pet Partners.
We want our horses to be happy and healthy so they can be their best while at "work." All our minis receive regular visits from the vet and farrier. Plus we make sure that they get the best nutrition possible.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding our horses, please feel free to contact us directly.
